Many nurses are not aware of the importance of taking continuing education (CE) courses from an accredited provider such as the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), which is a part of the American Nurses Association (ANA) Enterprise. If the CE course is not from an ANCC-accredited provider of nursing education, it is possible that your state board may not accept the CE credits for licensure. In the likelihood of an audit by your state board, you may risk the possibility of having your license suspended and you will have to re-take your CE courses. As an ANCC accredited provider, the continuing education credits earned from RN.com are accepted by all state boards of nursing.
RN.com’s current accreditations are listed below. We regularly maintain this list and try to keep it as accurate as possible. If you
have any questions about the accreditation details in your local area for your discipline, please check with your licensing or accrediting organization.
