Karen Siroky
Karen Siroky, RN, MSN, is the director of education for AMN Healthcare and RN.com in San Diego, California. Siroky's experience as a nurse includes ICU, liver and cardiac transplantation, program coordination, quality improvement, clinical software development and staff development. She is responsible for the development of the educational offerings of AMN Healthcare, including continuing education courses, tests and clinical materials requested by health care facilities.
Siroky has published several articles on transplantation and quality improvement. She earned her bachelor's degree at the University of Arizona and a master's degree from San Diego State University.

Bette Case DiLeonardi
As an independent consultant since 1993, Bette Case Di Leonardi helps her clients to achieve their goals using educational, competency management and quality improvement strategies. Her clients include a variety of health care organizations: professional schools, professional organizations, a travel nurse staffing company, disease management companies, managed care organizations, a public health department and providers of continuing nursing education.
She also is a partner in Clinical Care Solutions, Inc., which focuses its business on improving medication safety with educational, competency management and quality/performance improvement strategies. She serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Continuing Education in Nursing. Her expertise and special interests lie in critical thinking, test construction, competency management, preceptor development, medication safety, career development and professional development for educators.

Lori Constantine
Lori Constantine is a nurse with 11 years of medical surgical and education experience. She has
worked as a staff nurse, charge nurse and nurse preceptor on many different medical surgical units,
including vascular, neurology, neurosurgery, urology, gynecology, ENT, general medicine, geriatrics,
oncology and blood and marrow transplantation. She is a BLS instructor trainer and ACLS instructor.
She received her bachelor’s degree in nursing in 1994 and a master’s degree in nursing in 1998, both
from West Virginia University. Additionally, in 1998, she was certified as a family nurse practitioner.
She was a clinical instructor and lecturer for West Virginia University from 1998-1999 and is
currently an adjunct faculty member at Waynesburg College in Pennsylvania. For the past six years,
she has spent most of her professional time working as a clinical nurse educator for WVU Hospitals
in Morgantown, West Virginia.

Susan Herzberger
Susan Herzberger completed her basic training at the University of Illinois, Chicago Medical
Center in 1969. She is clinically experienced in rehabilitation, burn unit and emergency
department nursing. Herzberger returned to her alma mater for graduate school to prepare
herself as an educator in medical surgical nursing. In recognition of her academic excellence,
she is a member of Sigma Theta Tau. Herzberger‘s eclectic career includes being a faculty
instructor in an associate degree program, a director of a university campus health service,
a staff nurse in a county hospital and a community health consultant. In 2001, Herzberger
became a freelance author of journal articles and continuing education courses for a general
nursing audience. Her special interests are chronic disease management, adolescent issues and
environmental health.

Tanna Thomason
Tanna Thomason has 25 years of experience as a critical care nurse. She is a
clinical nurse specialist at Sharp Memorial Hospital in San Diego, California.
Thomason also teaches part-time at the baccalaureate level as an adjunct facility member at
Point Loma Nazarene University’s School of Nursing. Additionally, Thomason is the founder and
president of Smart Med Ed, a local educational consulting and seminar business.
Thomason is a frequent seminar lecturer on a variety of critical care nursing topics, and
received the honor of Outstanding Nursing Educator by Sigma Theta Tau’s Gamma Gamma Chapter in 2003,
for her ability to blend real-world experience with complex concepts in an understandable and
enjoyable presentation style.

Robin Varela
Robin Varela has over 20 years experience in critical care and emergency department nursing. During her tenure as a staff nurse and nurse preceptor, Varela achieved CCRN, TNCC, BLS, ACLS, ACLS Instructor, PALS and MICN certifications. As an emergency department clinical nurse manager, she took an active role in numerous multidisciplinary committees and partnered with local EMS to coordinate emergency preparedness within the community. Prior to joining the RN.com team as a content specialist, Varela worked as a clinical liaison RN for the clinical services department at AMN Healthcare and works per diem as a critical care transport nurse. She completed her BSN in 2003 and plans to pursue a graduate degree in 2006.

In her position as corporate account manager, Kelly Cantine is responsible for expanding market opportunities and promoting and positioning RN.com as a leading nursing continuing education resource for health care organizations. A graduate of San Diego State University, Cantine brings more than 15 years of professional sales and health care experience to RN.com, working for industry leaders such as Scripps Green in La Jolla, California.
